Commercial St. and it’s underutilized courtyard are best described by one word: potential.  Audge By Design developed streetscape and courtyard alternatives on behalf of Faithlife Inc. and the Downtown Bellingham Partnership to inspire revitalization efforts. The alternatives draw inspiration from the street’s rich architectural merging of historic brick and steel buildings and the modern design of the Parkade parking garage. Through architecturally inspired paving patterns, creative solutions to areas with “pinched” traffic flow, and features such as green walls and industrial inspired panels, each alternative breaths life back into this often passed-through space.
