Looping the city of Atlanta, 23 miles of abandoned rail right-of-way connect neighborhoods from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds.  The Portico Group, hired by Trees Atlanta, created a conceptual plan to help market the idea of a “green necklace” that links the “jewels” of major parks and urban nodes together, all along an arboretum trail that celebrates the rich cultural and environmental history of Atlanta. Responsibilities: Concept planning, public and client meetings, site analysis, and concept plan rendering.
